Georgia announced, that its armed forces on Friday's night has begun the operation "aimed on establishment of constitutional order in South Ossetia". Georgia has informed the peace-makers in the zone of conflict about the militancy with South Ossetia, anounced the undeclared republic's State Commitee for the press and information. Earlier head of Georgian peacekeeping forces stated that in South Ossetia "establishing of constitutional order" operation is in progress.

In the Friday's morning georgian troops has occupied three towns in South Ossetia: Didmukha, Muguti, Dmenisi - announced the georgian channel "Rustavi-2". According to its information all of these settlements situated in the approach area of Tskhinvali are under control of Georgian forces.

An official representative of Georgian Defence Ministry Nana Intskirvaly denied some releases of national mass-media saying as if Georgia has started the war with purpose of establishing a constitutional order in South Ossetia.

Earlier, e-agency "Georgia Online" announced that the commander of the Joint HQ-s of peacekeeping forces - Mamuka Kurashvili - supposedly informed the "Rustavi-2" channel that Georgia made a deceision on establishing a constitutional order in the zone of conflict.

"He has said nothing of the kind. This is not true" - Intskirvely said.

She added that the Georgian side had to return the fire, since the South Ossetian side had opened a heavy fire on Tamarasheni and Prisi towns.

Georgia declared war on South Ossetia. Currently, Georgian armed forces are assaulting Tskhinvali: capital city of the unrecognized republic. Infantry, assisted by tanks, conducts an
all-out attack and the sky is full of Georgian Air Force aircrafts. Assault started with heavy artillery attack at 23:45 MSK.

According to the latest information dozens of civil citizens is killed during the fights in Tskhinvali. Quantity of wounded civils is detailing and judging by the intensity of fire that number won't be small, the more so because their evacuating from the city is unavailable.

Scores of buildings including the hospital, the university, the maternity hospital and parlament is demolished in Tskhinvali. Domestic multistories with people inside is on fire.

Five settlements of South Ossetia situated at the border with Georgia is wiped off the face of the earth, plenipotentiary of South Ossetia's president in Russia Dmitry Medoev said.
